about
Hey there! I’m Hing
Welcome to my travel journal

I am currently based in Hong Kong.
I started this travel blog in 2023 as my creative outlet to document the places that I visited, and also the experiences and activities I enjoyed.
I don't consider myself a luxury traveler or a budget traveler. I fall somewhere in the middle. My journey of exploring new places began in 2012, and since then, I have been visiting new destinations every year, mostly in Asia.
I enjoy discovering new places with my friends, but I also travel extensively with my parents because I love exploring new destinations with them.
In my blog posts, you'll find tips and itineraries that are not overly packed and are at a relaxed pace. Some may find it a bit slow, but I hope you'll find some useful information here that can help you with your trip planning.
Cheers!
Hing
Useful Resources
I would like to share some websites that I often use to plan my upcoming trips.
Use Airalo eSim.
I used to purchase local SIM cards with mobile data whenever I traveled, but then I discovered Airalo. Airalo provides an excellent eSIM service that keeps me connected with my loved ones while I’m on the go. With Airalo, I do not have to worry about roaming charges. The eSIM has coverage for over 200 countries and regions, making it an excellent option for anyone looking for a reliable data plan.
The best part is that it doesn’t require a physical SIM card. You can do everything using the app. If you need a reliable and affordable data plan for your travels, I highly recommend checking out Airalo.
I book all my stays with Agoda.com
Agoda provides discounted prices for various types of accommodations worldwide – hotels, hostels, apartments, etc. It also has partnerships with local banks and offers incredible deals with specific credit cards.
If you book regularly with Agoda, you’ll get VIP discounts and additional perks.
I made my car rental reservation through Rentalcars.com, which is the world’s largest online car rental service. They have partnered with various big brands of car rental companies and offer free cancellations for most bookings. With over 60,000 locations to choose from, it was easy for me to browse through different car types and find the perfect one for my upcoming road trip adventure.
I only book from trusted platforms like Klook because I had a bad experience when I booked a local tour that I found on the internet.
I’ve been on a bunch of tours from Klook and they always make the pick up and drop off instructions super clear. The itinerary is also easy to understand. Plus, the customer service team is always quick to respond. I feel a lot better knowing I’m traveling with Klook and can actually enjoy the tour without any worries.
In addition to tours, I also booked discounted tickets for museums and popular theme parks, such as Disneyland and Universal Studios, through Klook.
It has activities and tours from all over the world, click here to find out more.
