Water World Tickets

Water World offers varying ticket prices based on the day of your visit and age group. Buying tickets online can help you save time. Do keep in mind that ticket prices tend to be higher during weekends, public holidays, and the summer season. We purchased adult tickets from Klook and senior tickets from the official website. We also reserved a medium locker to store our belongings.

Things to Bring to Water World

When planning a visit to the water park, it’s essential to bring along the following items to ensure a fun and comfortable experience:

  1. Water bottle: Staying hydrated is crucial, so bring a reusable water bottle and refill it at the water fountains inside the park.
  2. Extra Clothes: It’s a good idea to pack a change of clothes for after your time at the water park.
  3. Bath towels for drying off after enjoying the water attractions.
  4. Toiletries: If you prefer to use your toiletries, don’t forget to pack them. Otherwise, you can use the all-in-one shampoo and body wash provided in the shower area.

Indoor Excitement for Adults

For adults seeking indoor thrills, put your surfing skills to the test at the indoor surfing zone, Surf Striker. There are experienced trainers that will assist you in the experience. Tips when visiting Water World

As you plan your day at Water World Ocean Park, it’s important to keep a few things in mind to make the most of your time there.

The Water World park is a 15-minute drive from the Ocean Park. To make the most of your day, aim to arrive early before the park opens. This way, you can get changed and enjoy the rides with minimal wait time.

Upon arrival, prioritize which rides you want to experience first, as the earlier hours tend to have the shortest lines. In our experience, we were able to enjoy four rides before noon.

If you’re seeking thrills, head to the topmost area of the park. Be prepared to climb several flights of stairs to reach the top of the slides.

  • Before you start your day, take a photo of your locker number to avoid any confusion later on.
  • Additionally, remember to pack and reapply sunscreen throughout the day, and bring mosquito repellent if you plan to spend time outdoors.
  • Consider wearing aqua shoes for comfort, but if you prefer slippers, be prepared to remove them for each ride.
  • For ladies, a one-piece swimsuit is recommended over bikinis, especially if you are planning to try the rides at Thrill Valley.

Lastly, it’s a good idea to avoid staying until the park’s closing time, as this can lead to long waits in the changing areas, particularly for women. The shower area provides an all-in-one shampoo and body wash for your convenience.

I enjoy the spacious shower area, which has plenty of hooks for hanging clothes. In the locker area, there is a swimsuit dryer available for drying wet swimsuits, which I find really convenient for those who prefer not to carry around heavy, wet swimsuits.

Where to stay near Water World

The Water World Ocean Park is conveniently located next to The Fullerton Hotel. If you are planning a summer staycation, The Fullerton Hotel is a great choice. On the other hand, if you want to stay close to Ocean Park, you may consider staying at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel.

If you’re looking for a more affordable option, you can consider staying at the Nina Hotel Island South or The Arca. Both hotels are situated just a few minutes away from Wong Chuk Hang Station, which is only one MTR station away from Ocean Park. While staying in the southern part of Hong Kong, you’ll get to experience the more natural side of the city. Nearby attractions include Lamma Island, Brick Hill, and Stanley Beach.

Hope you find this post insightful and enjoy your day at the park!
